Método has concluded, within the framework of DECO project, the realization of the “Guidelines for career coordinators at VET schools for key competences training with cooperation with employers“, a document with guidelines on which are and how to improve the key competences necessary for the successful integration into the labour market of VET students.

This document constitutes the main result of the project, for which Método Consultores is primarily responsible, counting with the contribution of the other entities of the project (VET centres and entities with close relation with the labour market of Lithuania, Bulgaria, Turkey and Spain).

This document has been presented, reinforced and approved by all project partners at the meeting celebrated at Método premises in Vigo during the last month of March.

Guidelines presentation event

This product will be presented to the target audience at an event to be organized next month and that will be attended by representatives of the labour market, counsellors, teachers, trainers and representatives of vocational schools, among other stakeholders in the project area. Such event will show some guidelines and recommendations on how to improve key competences learning in vocational training centres in order to make students achieve a better integration in the labour market.

The Guidelines, available in English version, and that will be available in Spanish in a few weeks, can be downloaded from the project website.
